Non-metallics / Laminates / Plastics doing Precision Machining / General Fabrication
We do production machining in dusty phenolic laminates and glass filled products. We serve the gear industry and work to their tolerances: Moore-Addison is ISSO compliant. We machine basic shapes to high tolerance on manual machines.
Our 16 lathes turn OD ID and thickness with grooves inside and outside where needed. Our 6 CNC mills, 24 drill presses and 5 routers will accurately cut a profile and precisely place holes, slots and windows. We have grinders to true a full sheet's thickness.

What is your primary product or service?
We are a contract production machine shop in all materials non-metallic / laminates / plastics.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I enjoy doing something well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do basic fundemantal parts and machining processes to a high tolerance.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Addison IL 10,000 square feet of production space and just under 40 long term, mature, non-union employees.

The nearest large intersection is Addison Road and North Avenue in Lombard IL. Go north on Addison Road to the first stoplight. This is Factory Road. You can only go west. After two stop signs, at the next intersection, look to your right and you will see the Moore-Addison sign on our building.

Our business is done by check.

Which areas do you service?
We serve metro Chicago but also get into Wisconsin, northern Indiana and do surprisingly well in Ohio.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jim Holland and Tom Champion are the stock holders. Jim brings it in and Tom gets it out.
