Amitron is one of the largest privately held circuit board manufacturers in the United States. Located in the Chicago area, Amitron maintains ISO9001-2008, Mil-P-55110, ITAR and Minority certifications. We’re the supplier of choice to companies like United Technologies, Truck-Lite, and Honeywell, to name a few. We also supply hundreds of small to mid-sized OEM’s and CM’s, along with other large companies requiring a supplier with the ability to supply a high mix of products. Our capabilities range from 24 hour prototyping and gap production, to unlimited production quantities, 1 to 30 layers. We’re capable of .003” line and space on inner layers, and .004” on outer layers, blind and buried vias. We can also run up to 20 oz. copper for special applications.
Materials range from standard and high temp FR4’s to exotic Teflon, Rogers, Arlon and Taconic. We’re also proud to be the largest supplier in the USA of thermal materials bonded to Aluminum… widely used in LED lighting and other applications requiring heat dissipation. Thermal materials include Laird, Aismalibar, CSEM, Arlon, and Ventech, along with hybrid combinations.
All lead free RoHS finishes are processed in house, and include, lead free solder, Immersion Gold, Silver and Tin. As we build for many commercial/military applications, leaded solder is still in house also.
Aside from our 72,000 sq. ft. facility in Elk Grove Village, IL., we own and operate a second facility in India, giving us complete control over a lower cost alternative to China. Our India facility offers a 3 week lead time, and we have weekly freight forwarding set up, with shipping costs FOB Elk Grove Village, IL.
In addition, our India facility is certified to ISO/TS 16949: 2009.
