ILC was founded by Scott Falbe in his garage 23 years ago.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is lighting systems. This includes both entertainment lighting for temporary applications as well as permanently installed architectural lighting systems. We provide both the product sales, design, engineering, project management and installation for our projects. We work with over 100 manufacturers to provide cutting edge, lighting and control products.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The business was founded by Scott Falbe 23 years ago to fulfill a need for intelligent lighting fixtures in the Chicago marketplace. At the time this type of product was not readily available in Chicago. The business originated in Scott's garage and basement and has grown to a 35+ employee business in a 48,000 square foot building.
